More translations:
  • to clean and sweep
  • to stir
  • enough
  • a minute
  • an hour

I spent a bunch of time yesterday watching a video on how to remove mouth clicks from an audio clip and then trying to do that myself. I think I was successful! Not sure if this is easier or re-recording a clip is easier. But sometimes I just cannot avoid the clicking sounds when I'm speaking so it's good to be able to clean up the audio.

I also split up the translations in day, week, and month so it specifies "a day", "a week", and "a month". I'm thinking that eventually I'll want to add more examples with classifiers or measure words and they'll be similar to this.

Finally, I've tweaked the styling a bit on the translation pages. Hopefully it looks a little better and less cluttered!

I've added translations for "Chinese people" and "more", and I've also added two sentences, "I'll talk to you more tomorrow" and "He doesn't know how to speak Chinese".

It took me a really long time to record "I'll talk to you more tomorrow" because I kept getting hung up on the pronunciation of "mua(2) ki2"! I can say it find on its own, but I kept stumbling when saying it in that sentence and re-questioning what the tones are. But I had to stop eventually and just save something.

I've added more translations

  • to arrive
  • to stop
  • to meet

I've also fixed the pengim for so it's "meh" instead of "mih", since that's the Gekion way of pronouncing it and I missed that when originally converting everything to Gekion. My audio clip hasn't changed since I was already pronouncing it that way.

I haven't added much in terms of new translations, but I did add a new lesson page that has all the different dialects that I know about. There's not really any information on how the dialects differ from each other, but maybe I'll get to that another day.

I've also added more information to the Tones lesson.
